The RIT Libraries are part of the scholarly enterprise at Rochester Institute of Technology that supports open and free access to information. The open access, peer-reviewed journals are published by the RIT Libraries as an academic publishing alternative and as another venue to showcase RIT scholarship.

• International Workshop on Grid Computing Environments
  These conference proceedings focus on aspects of portal, gateway, and tool development, including architecture design and standards studies, toolkits developed in support of grid portals and gateways, as well as grid middleware.
• Journal of Applied Science and Engineering Technology
  Presenting the latest empirically-derived methodologies, analyses, and results, in engineering, technology, and the applied sciences.
• Journal of Science Education for Students with Disabilities
  A multi-disciplinary, peer-reviewed journal with an international focus on providing information on science education for students with varying types and levels of disabilities.
• Multi: The RIT Journal of Plurality and Diversity in Design
  Provides a multidisciplinary venue through which truly forward-looking, practical matters pertinent to design can be discussed and shared amongst design professionals with colleagues from those academic disciplines influenced and affected by advances in design and design technology.

Open Access Initiative

Removes the barriers of toll access and provides open access to institutional scholarship, commonly referring to greater public availability for advancing the cause of sharing global scholarship.
